Could everyone write one simple essay about something that once happened in Saltaire…that they saw or were a part of…and put it on one big website? Somebody should collect a lot of stories before we all forget. Otherwise it is like a line in “On The Beach” : The history of the war that now would never be written.” -(JO'H)

SNOW DAY OFF


Since it is a snow day and lots of people are making believe they can't get to work and are surfing the internet instead, why don't we get some Saltaire Stories up and written today?


Here is what it was like on the Great South Bay on ice snow days in 1903 off Bellport.
