Concerning our "reconnect" with Robin - as JOH stated we have been trying to contact Robin for some two years - in what we thought to be a last futile attempt I left messages on his answering machine this past week. Lo, and behold Sat. morning I get a call from the 718 area code and it's our long lost friend Robin. We had an absolutely wonderful time reliving old times and reminiscing. We especially talked about the friendship our respective parents had for each other. We sepnt many wonderful hours over the years with the Torrey's and have many wonderful memories. Robin said that he'd contact brother's Dr. Ken, and Rev(s) Raymond and Bruce.
And yes, for those of you that know Robin - he's just as loud today as he was nearly fifty years ago - some things never change!!
For all of us that know, love and respect(??) Robin there is no need for him to use a cell phone, telephone, or computer to converse with us. All he need do is stand outside of his house and speak in his normal tone of voice - anyone within a 750 mile radius should, if atmospheric conditions are right, be able to hear him. Robin, his parents, and his brothers were some of the best people that ever graced the shores of Saltaire.
