These are approximate guesses (as opposed to specific guesses — I guess):
Its first name was The Green Isle. I would put its dates as 1972-1974. Then, remember, it became The Lighthouse, which again I’d say was approximately 1975-1977; with The Out starting in 1978. I’m probably off a year or so on each of these but that’s the rough answer. I know it was known as The Green Isle and The Lighthouse for multiple seasons each, and my recollection is that it was The Lighthouse longer than it was The Green Isle. Warren Lem changed it to The Out, which everyone thought was so clever that it wouldn’t last a year. So much for that prognostication.
If this has to do with Saint Patrick’s Day I’ll be very disappointed.
We can always ask Larry Cole for verification on the competition.

by '76 it definitely was the Out - it may have been the Out in '72

Jean, whether it was the Blue Whale at any point in time is subject to further discovery.
All I remember is that when it was officially called the Green Isle it was unofficially called the "Green Slime."

I got my dates for failed marriages wrong - Noel didn't make his first mistake until '78 not '76
So the Green Isle, Blue Whale, Arthur Lem's Folly, Kismet Inn Annex, etc. may not have been till '78
