Could everyone write one simple essay about something that once happened in Saltaire…that they saw or were a part of…and put it on one big website? Somebody should collect a lot of stories before we all forget. Otherwise it is like a line in “On The Beach” : The history of the war that now would never be written.” -(JO'H)

Bill McKibbin, 1926-2012

Bill McKibbin, his wife Barbara, and sons Patrick and Fred, have been long time friends and neighbors on Surf Walk in Saltaire. Bill could be found sailing or swimming or riding his bike around town when not otherwise engaged in serious house projects. Our hearts go out to the entire McKibbin family, in particular to our friends Barbara, Pat, Fred, daughter in law Mary, and granddaughters Hazel and Olivia.
