Could everyone write one simple essay about something that once happened in Saltaire…that they saw or were a part of…and put it on one big website? Somebody should collect a lot of stories before we all forget. Otherwise it is like a line in “On The Beach” : The history of the war that now would never be written.” -(JO'H)

Custom Reprint of 1915 Saltaire Map

This hard to come by map of Saltaire, published by EB Hyde and Company, 1915 can be found in the NY Public Library.

The NYPL has placed the Map of Saltaire in its digital collection and you can download a copy of it or order reprints up to as large as 30 inches. You can even get it matted and framed by NYPL. Not cheap, but you can crop the image as you like before ordering it.

The original of this map is hard to come by. Saltairians may consider this as a nice piece for collecting or framing.
