Is it me or was the ball field much further up Neptune in the those days? The Catholic Church and water tower look awfully close to the field. Maybe it's just because there are so few houses...not sure.
Anyone know for sure?

Just less vegetation and buildings to block the view. Maybe the camera brought things in a little closer.
