I was there. All FI FD’s, plus at least 6 from the mainland. 4-5 hours to knock down. Everyone did a good job. Saltaire mustered five souls to be shoved into the inferno. You can watch it on TV, or read about it, but nothing compares with the thrill of having a wall collapse next to you, or a live electrical wire blowing up when water from your fire hose hits it.Hugh
