Originally the West dock had no turn to the Northeast. I think that occurred back in 1966 or 1967. I remember climbing in the middle before the top boards were in place, pile sand on the ledge and then float empty soda cans close to bulkheading. The object was to get sand in the hole and then the cans were to sink. Were it not for the dock house in the background I would not believe it was Saltaire. It looks like there is only ONE dock?
